That’s a wrap on Gresco’s 23rd Annual Expo!
On Thursday, March 19, Gresco welcomed over 800 customers, vendors, and employees to Forsyth, Georgia for a memorable day bringing people and partners together. As with every Gresco‑hosted show, the day offered engaging product showcases alongside valuable opportunities to build relationships and connect across the industry.
Expo morning kicked off with our traditional Expo breakfast, featuring a variety of hot and mild sausage from M&T Meats in Hawkinsville, GA, alongside locally-brewed coffee from Queen B, setting the stage for a busy and productive day. Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed snacks including fan-favorite Nothing Bundt Cakes and more.
This year’s Expo proudly supported a local nonprofit, Lifewise Academy of Pike County, whose mission is to bring Bible education to public schools in the local community. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our attendees and partners, the fundraising goal was exceeded by a wide margin, with an astonishing $16,392 raised to support their efforts for local schools.
As always, Expo offered attendees the opportunity to connect directly with manufacturers, explore new products, and discover solutions designed to meet the real-world challenges our customers face every day.
This year, Gresco hosted a mid-morning Tool & Safety demonstration led by our in-house Tool & Safety team. The session highlighted practical safety tips, showcased the latest tool products impacting the industry, and provided insights for everyday operations. Attendees also participated in an interactive Q&A, creating an open forum for discussion around safety best practices and product applications.
Lunch was provided by Smoke South out of Warner Robins, GA and featured an array of brisket, turkey, delicious sides and desserts. During lunch, attendees took part in raffle drawings featuring a wide selection of prizes generously donated by our sponsors.
Directly after Expo, for the first time, Gresco UAS hosted its first-ever GRID (GRID Robotics Inspection Demo) event in the afternoon. GRID is a utility-focused, hands-on event showcasing how modern robotic technologies support inspection workflows across the electric grid.
Designed for electric utility professionals, GRID provided real-world demonstrations of aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic robotics and how they integrate into transmission, distribution, vegetation management, substations, and asset monitoring programs. Attendees gained practical insight into inspection workflows and more. The event also created a structured environment to compare technologies, understand where they fit within a drone program, and connect with peers, subject matter experts, and the Gresco technical team.
Events Expo and GRID wouldn’t be possible without the support of our sponsors, vendors, customers, and employees. Gresco is thankful for everyone who contributed their time, resources, and energy to make this year’s Expo such a success. A special thank-you goes to our teams behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to prepare the space and ensure the day ran smoothly.
We’re already looking ahead to next year! Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 18, 2027, when we’ll be back for the 24th Annual Expo.
