Gresco Unveils Dock Equipment Upgrades

News · February 20, 2026

Upgrading Docks with Safer, Smarter Equipment

Gresco recently installed upgraded loading dock equipment at our Forsyth, GA warehouse, starting with brand new hydraulic dock levelers.

These hydraulic systems make daily operations noticeably smoother. With a simple push‑button design, the levelers raise and lower both the platform and lip using a fully hydraulic system. The setup provides consistent, steady motion and offers a good operating range of above and below dock height.

The design also includes built‑in safety features, with the ability to stop the platform in the event of a rapid drop, and a sturdy structural frame built for long‑term durability. Our warehouse employees have recently gone through training, and the feedback has been that the hydraulic controls feel intuitive, reliable, and easy to manage during busy loading times. These improvements have come in handy during recent winter weather storm response.

Alongside the new levelers, the Forsyth warehouse is now home to two dock combination control panels which centralize dock operations into one streamlined control box. These panels control the vehicle restraint, powered leveler, and overhead door from a single interface, reducing clutter and helping prevent user error.

The backlit status display, red and green LED communication lights, and audible alerts all help guide employees, which makes the dock not only more efficient, but noticeably safer.

Marketing was on site during installation week to watch the systems in action and capture photos of the upgraded docks.

It’s been great to see how the hydraulic levelers and dock controls work together - providing smoother transitions, clearer communication cues, and a workflow that feels more straightforward for the team.

Forsyth is just the beginning. These upgrades will continue rolling out to additional Gresco locations throughout 2026 as part of our effort to modernize our facilities and support safer, more efficient operations across the company. There are more updates to come as the installations continue.
