GeoCue Releases Latest Firmware Update

The GeoCue Group recently release an update to their users:

"GeoCue Group would like to inform its TrueView users that the latest firmware update, 2.4.1-1 (8b472bea), for the TrueView 515vC, TrueView 535, TrueView 535vC, TrueView 545, TrueView 585, TrueView 625, TrueView 655, TrueView 660 , TrueView 680 and TrueView 720 3DIS (imaging systems), plus the Microdrones EasyOneNDAA, the latest firmware update, 2.2.1-1 (07f760a3), for the Microdrones EasyOneUHR, EasyOneUHRLite, and EasyOneUHR+ is available for download from the support knowledge base. Please note the firmware is the same for these models as listed. The firmware for the TrueView 540, TrueView GO, and legacy, non-EasyOne, microdrones payloads are not the same. Please DO NOT attempt to install this update on those models."

Important Note: These version B and newer TrueView systems have no controller box and create a system.log. For legacy systems with a controller box and which create a Cycle.log, there is no update, please see the firmware update from June 2022 to ensure your legacy system is running the latest firmware.

Highlights of the firmware 2.4.1-1 (8b472bea) update:

Removed unnecessary warning messages
Added support for new TrueView payloads “vC”
Mobile mapping:
- Added optional Map View to Web UI.
- Map View plots recent Cycle Paths to visualize covered areas.
- Map View can import kml file to visualize path to be scanned.

Fixed folder access for FTP.
Fixed stop camera stream when terminating.
All error messages from Riegl to be forwarded to Web UI.
Added error message to prevent buffer overflow of Riegl scanner.
Several enhancements and bug fixes to improve system reliability.

Note: The TrueView firmware v2.x may produce Cycle data that requires LP360 v2023.1.32.0 or later to successfully process.

All users with an applicable TrueView 3DIS should upgrade their firmware at their earliest convenience to ensure optimal performance of their system. Refer to the latest hardware user guides for your respective system model for more detail.
